1st May 2013, Chailly en Bière. There was a big boot sale there. And then suddenly ten or so rubberbooted guys appeared. Young, nice looking guys who wore their rubber boots without any hang-ups.

     On June, 30th, 2012, in Paris, we saw at the RER B station called "Port Royal", a smiling nice looking guy wearing turned down red Marc Jacobs wellies. We accosted him.

     12 September 2011, in Rubelles (near Melun) : a young guy was happy to show off his new Anjou rubber boots...

     21 November 2011, in Newton-Abbot (Devon), a guy in black rubber waders Century is checking a little river... 

   On Saturday 24 February 2007 Roger and I were strolling in the streets of Cologne, in Germany. Suddenly, on the pavement in front of us, we saw a guy wearing dirty work gear and orange safety boots but he did not seem to notice us. So I dared to call to him and spoke to him, first in English, and then, with Roger's help, in German.
   "-Excuse-me sir ; could you tell me where I can buy rubber boots like yours... -Oh, I bought them on the internet..."
   Apfter few words, MARKUS confirmed to us that he liked working gear and workers' rubber boots... I gave him an AMBC card... and he smiled : he knew the site well and agreed at once that we could put his pictures on it. That's done. Thanks, Markus !

     On October 5th, 2003, Belgian authorities who have began to build the TGV (fast train) line between Bruxelles [B] and Köln [D], opened to the public their building sites; among them a Tunnel in Soumagne. There you could see many guys wearing rubber or PVC boots.

     The sun is burning on 09 July 2003... Bare torso, and wearing Le Chameau waders, three guys were working in one of the marshes, in Oléron Island (Atlantic Coast, France).

   Everybody is worrying about the private life of Xmas Father... We found him and saw what he does when he is not in his big Winter trip... He seems also to enjoy wearing rubber boots...

   LUDOVIC is just twenty years old ; he was never really into studying but dirty jobs never put him off. Also when someone suggested this rather well paid job, he did not hesitate. It was all the better as it was near his home in Picardy, in Crotoy (80), on the Bay of the Somme.

   His job ? Drilling in all types of terrain. On this day, he had to drill into the bottom of the sludge in the Port of Crotoy, before work could begin there. Of course, waders were obligatory for the day's work... At least at low tide...

   It's Spring, in Charleroi (Belgium), and Geoffray and his mate Michael are working hard. So, Geoffray has opened his blue overalls. Feeling good in his overalls, his working gloves and his PVC work boots, he is really proud of his good job...
