       Why?

I have loved Wellington Boots since I was a child. I found it very exciting to see other children with Wellingtons on splashing through puddles and wanted to be able to join in. My parents however always wanted a clean and tidy child, I only once asked them for some Wellingtons, but in vain.

When I was 10 years old I saved up my pocket money and after about 6 weeks I had enough to buy my first, own, pair of Wellington Boots. I set off for a shoe shop in our street - the only shoe shop in our small town, it was a rather exciting experience. The old shop keeper was very friendly, of course I knew him, having often visited him with my mother to buy shoes. It was very important to him that the boots fitted properly and he brought out one pair after another. I sat on the stool feeling very awkward and tried them on, I did not relax until I had left the shop with my Wellingtons well wrapped up in a parcel. Of course, it was not possible simply to take them into the house so I hid them outside in a shed.

Next day after school I packed my oldest clothes and my new black Wellingtons and cycled to the woods on my bicycle. After the rain the paths there were beautifully muddy, I was at last really able to play in the mud! I jumped into the wet splattering mire and splashed around in the cold, muddy, puddles. I will never forget this time. I could hear the morass splatter over my boots and smell the wet mud. I had already at that time discovered other arousing, exciting "wet games" about which however I will say no more! I had never thought about my odd behaviour, it was simply fun, exciting and arousing, and I loved my Wellingtons and the secret games that I played when I had them on.

Later, when I was 13 or 14 - I was now on my fourth pair of Wellingtons - I began to have doubts about the whole thing. My arousal at the sight of Wellington Boots and people wearing them suddenly seemed peculiar. I was sometimes self-ashamed of my actions and it became seldom that I wallowed in the mud and indulged in my fantasies. But it has never gone away. I thought I would grow out of it and consoled myself with this thought. At 16 - stop it! I reached 17 - nothing had changed. I tried by training, but without any effect! My 18th birthday arrived - without result; at 20 no improvement, in fact the opposite, if anything my Wellingtons gave me more pleasure! At 25? Just the same! Meanwhile I have given up expecting any change.

We will see how what happens in the future, but I think that even at 30 I will get excited when I see people wearing Wellingtons, walking in pouring rain, sloshing through mud and all the other games; and always be looking our for more pairs to buy. Until recently, on the Web, I had never discovered anyone else like this: why?
